Who we are
About Us
Southeast Drum Studios is led by professional drummer Alex Crockett, a versatile musician with over 20 years of experience in drumline, drum set performance, and studio recording combined. Alex works with students, bands, and artists locally, across the Southeast United States, and nationwide through remote recording services.
From teaching private lessons to providing full multitrack drum recordings, Alex’s mission is to help musicians bring their ideas to life with energy, precision, and creativity.
Experience
- 20+ years of drumming in multiple styles: rock, jazz, funk, metal, R&B, gospel, and marching percussion
- Active performer with Continua (Progressive Rock), Michael Simms (R&B), and Mount Gilead Church
- Endorsed by Soultone Cymbals & DreamEarz IEMs
- Recieved percussion scholarship where he did drumset private lessons and played snare drum on the drumline for the Sound of the South at Troy University.
